Accounts Assistant – Banking

Location: Felixstowe

Role

To provide accounts support to maintain accurate and timely accounting records, including bank, petty cash, expenses and general ledger company-wide across Denholm Good Logistics Limited reporting to Accounts Payable Manager.

The Day-to-Day

  • Bank and cash; process, maintain, reconcile, analyse and report bank and cash transactions for the business (daily/weekly/monthly) including foreign currency.
  • Process, record and settle staff expense claims.
  • Ad hoc accounting, reporting and project work, as required

AEO

All duties to be undertaken with reference to Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) procedures and work instructions.

The Person

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in an accounting environment

The Need-to-Knows

  • Reporting to: Accounts Payable Manager
  • Location: Liverpool
  • Working hours: Full time
