The John Good Group has been named as one of the UK’s fastest growing private businesses for international sales by the Sunday Times HSBC International Tack 200, for the third year in a row.
The award reflects the company’s growth in sales at home and abroad. A range of targeted business acquisitions, as well as organic growth, has seen overall turnover at the group up from £41m in 2013 to £100m in 2019, an achievement which led to numerous awards for growth throughout 2020 and into 2021.
Alan Platt, CEO of The John Good Group said “I am extremely proud of the way in which our employees have risen to the challenges presented by both Covid and Brexit this year. In spite of this backdrop, they have put us in a fantastic position as a business, and we are moving into 2021 with plenty of opportunities and lots to look forward to. A massive thank you to everyone across the entire business, this award is testament to your commitment and dedication.”
Now in its twelfth year, the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts. It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each February.
The full list will be published on Sunday 21st February – so look out for it online and in the Sunday Times Business Section.
This year’s special Covid-19 edition will not be one to miss, as it highlights the important contribution that private companies have made during the pandemic.
