Deferred Customs Declarations Deadline – 25 June 2021

Deferred Customs Declarations Deadline – 25 June 2021

  • SHARE

If you have used the UK Government’s deferred declaration scheme (EIDR) from the 1st January 2021, the first deadline for delayed customs import declarations is approaching fast. Anyone who took advantage of the 1st January 2021 175-day extended period to complete their import declarations must now do so by the 25th of June.

The UK Government deferred declarations scheme has been extended until 31st December 2021, but importers must process their 175-day declarations regularly. Missing the deadline may lead to an HMRC fine and removal of the right to delay future declarations.

You must be registered with HMRC to submit your supplementary declaration. At John Good Logistics, we have a dedicated team of customs professionals who can help and complete your supplementary declarations on time. Please contact us to find out how we can support your business by emailing us at eusupport@johngood.co.uk.
