Role

Opportunity to join the Import Operations department and handle all manner of Import related work including Customs Clearances, Customer Enquiries, Collecting Outstanding monies, arranging deliveries, liaising with overseas agents, liaising with 3rd party data team.

Scope of responsibility will be under NVO Consolidation’s Import department working within a team of 5.  You will have regular contact with customers, suppliers and external legal entities, such as HMRC.

The Day-to-Day

  • Arranging Import deliveries
  • Sending Devan reports and CLP’s to Data Team
  • Collecting Monies due for Shipments before enabling releases / deliveries
  • Arranging Shipment Releases
  • Assisting Direct Importers with EORI applications and Direct Rep Forms
  • Monitoring the Import joint mailbox and ensuring response times are swift
  • Calling Importers for contact details in order to send NOA’s and Invoices
  • Dealing with Overseas agents
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
  • Arranging Deliveries
  • Checking Purchase invoices, prior to being sent to Data team to be passed

The Person

  • Import Operations experience
  • Cargowise Experience is desirable
  • Can do attitude

  • Location: Manchester
  • Working hours:  Full time 37.5
